Happy Time Camps Video
I just wanted to show you all what it sounds like to have 300 screaming kids in a pool barn with a tin roof at 80 degrees!
Joe’s Gizzard City
You know how you never do anything in your own town. It happened to me. Today on our way home from Mississippi we stopped in Potterville Michigan at Joe’s Gizzard City. I grew up in Charlotte which is about 5 miles away. My first job was at the Potterville elementary school as a gymnastic spotter for little kids.
This place is so famous that it was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! Of course I would have never know that because no way in a million years would I even try a gizzard… so why would I know that it was there? Plus I was to young.
I’ve married this crazy husband and he seen this on the food channel, so you know where we headed. How convenient, we were going right by it on our way home.
First off it’s kinda dirty, small and smokey. I’m not sure they’ve heard about the no smoking policy in most restaurants these days, because of this we had to sit on the patio. Paul of course had the gizzard because what’s a trip to Gizzard City if you don’t have the gizzards! I had the deep fried hamburger and onions rings. Oh and for dessert, more deep fried food. ..deep fried Oreos and deep fried Nutter Butters. The oreo were my favorite, you dipped them in chocolate. I did try one tiny piece of Paul gizzards. Not bad, but I’m not having a plate of them.
So we left feeling full of deep fried food and feeling a little greasy, but it’s the experience that was most important. Check that off the list of places we’ve been!
Did you know
Paul and I were so blessed to have our way paid to attend the
National Church Planting Conference. Our brains have exploded,
and we are so excited. I have so much I want to share but it’s
all still being processed up stairs if you know what I mean. Hopefully
next week. For now here is a video that was showed at the conference.
Faith Family Open House
We made our shirts. Our colors are Mandarin orange and key lime.
I took these few photos at the very being. Paul and I were surprised that people showed up right when we started at 5:00. So after that point I got to busy and forgot to take photos.
We rented the Township Hall in our town. We served Nachos and Tacos! We were really excited with our turn out and believe we have made 5 really good contacts (families) who are interested in our church. We were not really sure if people would just come and check us out. I would think it would be kind of awkward, but they did! The Argus Press did an article about us the day before. It was very helpful.
We made ballon hats for the kids and we had a moonwalk up of course. We also had other activities for the kids, this allowed us time to visit with mom and dad.

video-Lillie makes a Birdhouse
Lillie has been caring around that bird house for 2 days. She so proud of it, and sadly we
have not caught a bird yet.
Paul worked at Autumn’s school today making kites with the kids. Autumn was the first
girl to get hers in the air 100 ft. She was so excited. Today was also PJ and slipper day at school.
Were off to go up north with our equipment to Bad Axe schools for Environmental days.
Paul and I will be making balloon animals for all the kids. Autumn is excited to stay in a
hotel tonight. Summer is coming and soon she’ll be asking, when can I sleep in my bed!
Video-The Presence of the Lord is Here!
This video blesses me! It also wears me out!
You can see at the end of the video that they are tuckered out!!

I’ve just been playing around with the new ilife 09 for Mac. The new imovie is
growing on me. I do love our Mac. We’ve had our Mac computer for just over
a year and I must say…
Once you use a Mac you’ll never go back!!
I’ve been working really hard at keep my photos organized and taking
more movies of the girls.
I have a class in the morning at the COG Conference Center on a Church Management Software.
I’ll be learning a new computer program that helps with book and record keeping. Paul has
his meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at the YMCA with the CEO. Keep us in your prayers as we
move on to new adventures.
